Biography
First-Prize winner of the Philadelphia Orchestra Young Artists Competition and third-prize winner of Concours International d’ Execution Musicale in Geneva, flutist Hyeri Yoon’s extensive solo concert engagement have taken her all over the world. Some of world’s most prestigious venues such as concert with Jean- Pierre Rampal and Julius Baker at Carnegie Hall as a teenager and since then has presented as soloists with Philadelphia Orchestra, St.Petersburg Orchestra, Swiss Romande Orchestra, Winterthur Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra,Shanghai Opera Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife.
The recipient of numerous awards, Hyeri Yoon was laureate at the Olga Koussevitzky, the New York Flute Club Competition. Ms.Yoon has studied at The Curtis Institute of Music with Juilus Baker and Jaffrey Khaner,Basel Musik Akademie under Peter-Lukas Graf,at the Manhattan School of Music with Jeanne Baxtresser and the Conservatoire Nationale Superieur de Paris with Alain Marion.
Ms.Yoon has been a principal flute of the Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife in Spain and the New World Symphony in Miami and has performed with New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center and with Asia Phiharmonic at Santory Hall and Beijing Art Center.

I. Recital (50-60 min): 45% of the evaluation
Free programme. The repertoire of the Solo Recital is at the free choice of the candidate. It must be constructed as a concert and explained by a programme note. The repertoire can include solo pieces and pieces with piano.
NB: The Recital should not exceed 60 minutes including the entrances/exits of the stage and the possible pauses.
II. Semi-Final: Chamber Music (approx. 45 min): 35% of the evaluation
