77th CONCOURS DE GENÈVE
STRING QUARTET 2023 - APPLICATION DEADLINE

The 77th Concours de Genève will be presenting Flute & String Quartet and will take place from 23 October - 4 November 2023 in Geneva, Switzerland. Complete programme, rules & registration will be published this Autumn.

Application deadline: 20 April 2023
Video preselection : 8-9 May 2023

PROGRAMME VIDEO PRESELECTION (approx. 30 min)

1. J. Haydn: two contrasting movements from a quartet at free choice
    
2. Two contrasting movements from a quartet by one of the following composers:
   • J. Brahms
   • F. Mendelssohn
   • F. Schubert
   • R. Schumann

NB : Movements can be chosen freely and must not necessarily be consecutive. Works chosen for the Preselection Round can be repeated once in the following rounds.
