Biography

Noémie Bialobroda studied with Nobuko Imai at the Haute École de musique de Genève before joining the class of Jean Sulem at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris. Since 2014, she has been the violist of the Aviv Quartet and also collaborates with the Ensemble Modern and the Ensemble Contrechamps. In 2020, together with the violinist Sergey Ostrovsky, she founded the Geneva International String Academy, of which she is the Artistic Director. She also teaches viola at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon and chamber music at the HEM de Genève.
