Oboe Jury 2021
Australian Diana Doherty has been principal oboist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra since 1997. Aside from her orchestral life she loves collaborating with composers on new works for oboe and has been fortunate to have had many opportunities in Australia and internationally to premiere, promote and record new works by Australian composers.
Having studied and worked in the German part of Switzerland from 1987 till her return to Australia, she still maintains a strong connection to the French part also through her marriage to fellow oboist and colleague in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra Alexandre Oguey, who grew up in Neuchatel. They have two adult children and a very cute dog.
