Biography
Polish percussionist Marianna Bednarska completed her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart and at the Haute École de musique de Genève. In 2019, she won Second Prize at the Concours de Genève, as well as the Credit Suisse Jeunes Solistes Prize. She subsequently made her debut at the Lucerne, Davos, and Solsberg festivals, and has performed with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, the Komische Oper Berlin Orchestra, and the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra. She has been teaching at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw since 2023.
