San Jittakarn

3rd Prize Piano 2018

San JIttakarn studied in some of the most prestigious schools in the United states: having completed his bachelors at the Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio with Monique Duphil, he pursued his studies at the Juilliard School in New York with Jerome Lowenthal and Hung-Kuan Chen, where he obtained his master’s degree. He is now completing his 3rd cycle at Yale University. Having won several competitions in the United States, San started attracting attention on the international scene in 2016; he distinguished himself at the Maria Canals Competition in Barcelona, where he won an award from the Jury, and was semi-finalist at the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels. In 2017, he won 2nd Prize and Sonata Prize at the Shigeru Kawai Competition in Tokyo. These different awards have given him the opportunity to perform in Japan, Korea, Belgium and Spain, in addition to concerts in New York.
