Biography
Born in Munich, violinist Lena Neudauer studied with Thomas Zehetmair and Christoph Poppen. At the age of fifteen, she won the Leopold Mozart International Competition in Augsburg. In 2010, her first album, featuring Robert Schumann’s complete works for violin and orchestra, received an International Classical Music Award. She is very active on the chamber music scene, performing with artists such as Silke Avenhaus, Julia Fischer, Matthias Kirschnereit, Nils Mönkemeyer, Julian Steckel and Dénes Várjon. She is a Violin Professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich.
