Elizaveta Ivanova

Elizaveta Ivanova grew up in St. Petersburg, where she studied at the State Conservatory with Olga Chernyadeva. She then continued her studies with Felix Renggli at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel and has already won prizes in numerous international competitions (including Cluj, Crusell and Larrieu). She is a co-soloist in the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra, where she also lives. As she says herself, although she enjoys her work and discovering the orchestral and operatic repertoire, she cannot imagine playing solo or chamber music without it. She loves to study, learn new works and take on challenges; she sees competitions as an exciting adventure and an opportunity.
