Jocelyne Dienst-Bladin, France/Sweden

Jocelyne Dienst-Bladin is a world-renowned pianist and vocal coach. After musical studies at the Conservatory of Music in Nice under the direction of P. Cochereau, she worked as opera coach and assistant Chorus Master at the Opera in Nice between 1977 and 1984. She then began her international career, performing in major European venues and renowned festivals (Pesaro, Bregenz, Aix-en-Provence, Orange, etc.). She has assisted reputed conductors such as Prêtre, Lombard, Campanella, Panané, Tate, Pappano, Domingo, Caballé, Freni, Von Otter, Alagna, Hampson, Ramay and many others.  

Jocelyne Dienst-Bladin was principal coach at the Monte-Carlo Opera under the direction of L. Foster and in charge of the artistic team at the CNIPAL (Centre National d'Artistes Lyriques). She has been musical assistant of Sir Colin Davis since 1999 and participated in many recordings with the London Symphony Orchestra. She has been a teacher at the Queen Elisabeth College of Music in Brussels alongside J. Van Dam since 2008.

Jocelyne Dienst-Bladin is above all specialized in French Opera. She has given masterclasses around the world, including in Valencia at the “Centre de Perfeccionament” founded by Plácido Domingo.
