Founded in 2017, the Quatuor Elmire has already made its mark on the French and international scene. Based in Paris, the four musicians have been taught by the greatest quartetists, including members of the Hagen, Ysaÿe, Berg, Modigliani, Belcea and Ebène quartets. In 2019, the Quatuor Elmire won 3rd prize and a special prize at the Nielsen Competition in Copenhagen and has performed at numerous festivals in France and soon in Germany. The Quatuor Elmire is artist-in-residence at the Fondation Singer-Polignac, artist-in-residence at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth, "grand résident" of the association ProQuartet, artist of the Spedidam generation and prize-winner of the Banque Populaire Foundation.

David Petrlik plays a violin by Jean Baptiste Vuillaume from 1842, Yoan Brakha a viola by Nicolas Desrousseaux from 1747, Hortense Fourrier a viola by Joël Klépal from 2017 and Rémi Carlon a cello by Gioffredo Cappa from 1714.
