Anna Kasyan appears around the world, performing in some of the most prestigious theatres, in a repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary music. Prize-winner of the Geneva Competition in 2007, she was named "Lyrical Artist Revelation of the year" during the 2010 Victoires de la Musique Classique. She is reputed for her Mozart performances and has appeared in roles such as Susanne in Les Noces de Figaro, Fiordiligi and Despina in Cosí fan tutte and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. Her many other roles include Rosina in Le Barbier de Séville by Rossini, Wellgunde in Wagner’s Das Rheingold, Mimi in Puccini’s La Bohème and the title role in La Calisto by Cavalli, which she performed at the Grand Théâtre de Genève.

In addition to her career as an opera singer, she regularly appears across Europe and the United States as recitalist. Ms. Kasyan is also an excellent actress and was chosen by movie producer Andrea Anderman to play Clorinda in Carlo Verdone’s opera-film La Cenerentola... una favola in diretta. Working with the famous Italian director gave new impetus to her career, allowing her to make her debut as a movie actress in his comedy L’Abbiamo fatta grossa. Anna Kasyan has recently appeared in two new opera roles: Hélène in Verdi’s Sicilian Vespers at the Opéra de Nice and the title role in Dvořák’s Rusalka at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome.
