Composition Prize

Founded in 1958, this Prize is now called "The Geneva Music Competition Composition Prize (formerly the Queen Marie José musical Prize)".

On the occasion of its 24th edition in 2008, the Foundation of Queen Marie José Composition Prize has indeed announced its dissolution and its integration with the Foundation of Geneva International Music Competition, effective at the end of 2008.

The organization of this competition is henceforth ensured by the Geneva Competition whose Artistic Committee has quickly put in place new regulations.

The frequency of the Prize remains the same (every 2 years, even years). The mind and the philosophy of the old price will be respected.
