René Lindenmeyer
Treasurer of the Foundation Board
René Lindenmeyer has held the post of Treasurer of the Board of the Geneva International Music Competition Foundation since 1999. In this capacity, he ensures the optimal accounting and financial management of the Geneva International Music Competition.
René Lindenmeyer, who was a PricewaterhouseCoopers associate until 2003, also taught company auditing at the Chamber of Chartered Accountants and officiated as Expert at the federal examinations for chartered accountants from 1999 to 2003.
René Lindenmeyer is also very involved in Geneva's political and institutional activities, and puts his expertise as a chartered accountant at the service of the Liberal party, for which he has been Treasurer since 2003, and has acted as Member of the Council and the Office of the Aigues Vertes Foundation since 2005, amongst other voluntary undertakings.
René Lindenmeyer was born in 1947 in Lausanne. He is father of two grown-up children and grandfather of three small children.
