Prizewinners' Commitments
Since 2002, The Geneva International Music Competition works together with the Concert Agency ProMusica to offer its prizewinners concerts and advice for two years after receiving their prize. Please consult the listing of future engagements (submit to changes).
The Laureates's Concert
Since 2003, with support from the Association of Friends of the Geneva Competition, the Geneva public can meet up with its laureates again at a spring concert. The last edition of the Prizewinners concert will be held May 7, 2012 at the Victoria Hall.
Master Classes
The Geneva Competition organizes Master classes in close collaboration with the Music Conservatory of Geneva and Lausanne. These sessions are open to the public.
Recordings
Montres Breguet SA, principal partner of the Geneva Competition, offers each year a CD Prize "Coup de Coeur Breguet".
Hyo Joo Lee, 2nd Prize ex-aequo for Piano in 2010, won the prize in 2010 and recorded her album with NASCOR in summer 2011.
Polina Pasztircsák, 1st Prize in the 2009 Voice Competition, won the "Coup de Coeur Breguet" CD Prize and recorded her album with NASCOR in summer 2010, available in stores since the fall of 2010.
István Várdai, 1st Prize for Cello in 2008, has registered with the OCG in June 2009. The CD is available in the music stores.
Shirley Brill, 2nd Prize for Clarinet in 2007 and winner of the "Coup de Coeur Breguet" 2007. She recorded her album with L'Orchestre de Chambre de Genève which was released in October 2008.
Gilles Vonsattel, winner of the Prix Coup de Coeur Breguet 2006 "(piano), recorded his album which was released in October 2007.
